Many
of us, who have been honored to be associated with Herb Hodges over the
years, have extensive libraries of "Brother Herb" messages and
tapes. Herb has given permission to share his monthly discipling studies with
you. We will post them as time for uploading permits and as long as file
space remains on this site. It is Herb's desire that these messages would be
used in a structured teaching plan for making “world visionary, world
impacting, reproducing disciples”.
Why a structured plan for making disciples? Jesus used a structured plan for
making disciples. If you do not know the meaning of or need for a structured
plan for making disciples, you need to read “Tally Ho The Fox”.
Our belief is that messages from Herb Hodges are like “Seeds in
the bag that the sower carries into the field of disciple making”. The
wealth of discipling information, knowledge and wisdom in each message is
oftentimes overwhelming.
A
word of caution. These messages require careful study, oftentimes over
multiple study sessions. They are valuable for individual study, for group
study with your disciples and for presentation as teaching material.
We believe you will be blessed by each of these messages. Our prayer is that
you will be led to use them to further the kingdom and in your efforts to
make disciples for the glory of our Lord.
Herb
Hodges messages are spiritually deep and intellectually challenging. Although
the content of these messages is interesting and entertaining, you will find
these messages to be spiritually stimulating and very thought provoking. My
experience (and Herb’s instructions) is that these messages were never
intended to be consumed in one sitting. I find that I must read and digest
each message several times, with new insights coming with each exposure.
