MMI Cadet Christian Fellowship Messages
From July, 2000 –
December, 2004, John functioned as the civilian sponsor and leader of a
Christian fellowship and discipling group at Marion Military Institute, which
is located in Marion, Alabama. This group was known as MMI Cadet
Christian Fellowship (MMI/CCF). MMI provides a service preparatory education
for the 9th grade through the 2nd year of College. The
mission of MMI is to prepare young men and women for admission to the
military service academies. This is a job they do very well.
John's sponsorship ended
when he changed jobs and moved away form Marion and MMI. After many years
functioning as a private military prep school, MMI is now a part of the
university system of the State of Alabama.
As a part of his work
with the cadets at MMI, John wrote and mailed a message or study to the
cadets each week. The messages Identified as MMI/CCF in the list below are
some of those messages, written to a younger discipling group than normally
encountered.
